Liturgical Studies/Sacramental Theology Doctoral Candidate Selected for Grants Advisory Board
Lisa M. Weaver, a doctoral candidate in Liturgical Studies/Sacramental Theology has been selected to be a member of the grants advisory board of the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship. The institute promotes the scholarly study of the theology, history, and practice of worship, and seeks to facilitate the renewal of worship in local congregations.
Religion and Culture Doctoral Candidate Named Coolidge Fellow
Beverly Goines, a doctoral candidate in Religion and Culture, has been named a Coolidge Fellow in the Research Colloquium of the Association for Religion and Intellectual Life in New York City for July 2013; in addition, she has been awarded a Bishop Thomas Hoyt Jr. Fellowship for the fall semester at the Collegeville Institute for Ecumenical and Cultural Research in Minnesota.
