Biography:
Hellen Mardaga was born in Ukkel, Belgium, and received a Masters degree in Theology at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium in 2002 and a PhD and STD in Biblical Studies in 2006, specializing in John and the Synoptics. From 2007 until 2008 she worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Catholic Theology at the University of Tilburg, the Netherlands. From 2002 until 2007 she was appointed by Cardinal Danneels and the Bishops conference as Director of the Leo XIII-seminary in Leuven. She also worked on a Forthcoming exegetical tool entitled "The Lukan Vocabulary". Next to that she is author of several articles on the gospel of John.
