Msgr. Irwin Publishes New Book
The Paulist Press has just published Msgr. Irwin’s latest book entitled: What We Have Done. What We Have Failed To Do. Assessing the Liturgical Reforms of Vatican II. In this book Msgr. Irwin invites discussion about a number of things about what (especially American) Catholics have done to implement the liturgies that were revised after the Second Vatican Council. Topics include: church renewal, active participation, making memory together, the sacramental principle, liturgical translations, the proclamation of the word and the liturgical homily, liturgical roles and presiding at liturgy, the arts (architecture and music), liturgical education and mystagogy, devotions and spirituality.
