Msgr. Stephen Rossetti Does Workshops in Hong Kong and Santiago

Msgr. Stephen J. Rossetti, Ph.D. D.Min., traveled to the island of Cheung Chau in Hong Kong for the week of July 13-17 where he did a week long workshop for thirty diocesan and religious order leaders from mainland China.  The workshop was on human formation for priests and religious.  The goal of the workshop was to train these leaders so they could return to China and begin to implement their own human formation programs in their dioceses and religious orders.  The week was judged by the participants as a great success.

The following week, July 20-24, Msgr Rossetti was in Santiago Chile and gave a weeklong workshop to several hundred bishops, priests, sisters and laity on child protection.  He lectured in the morning to the priests and sisters, and to the laity in the evening.  The Archdiocese indicated their strong support for implementing important child protection measures with the Cardinal personally attending throughout the week and voicing his personal support.  The workshop was covered by the secular and Catholic press.
